Never Say Never

What is the program?

The Never Say Never Program was created to provide support, training and opportunities to Abboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth to prepare them for life in the workforce or for further education. This support can be through helping them obtain their first casual job, securing a apprenticeship or traineeships or finding and sorting through the different pathways to further education.

What do participants receive?

Participants that take place in the program are provided with culturally appropriate tailored mentoring support, training tailored to what skills the participant might need for their chosen path, as well as access to a unique program dedicated to living a healthy lifestyle.

What are the benefits of the program?

Having tailored support allows the mentor to really get to know and work with the participant helping them achieve their goals and/or aspirations. Our goal is to build our participants confidence, resilliance and skill set as well as giving them the time and support to work on their goals and/or aspirations. We aim to provide the participant with a toolkit of skills and knowledge that will help them for the rest of their life. There is no cost to the participant to access this program so if they are dedicated to expand their skill set and set themselved up for success then this program is the best place to start.

Where is the program run?

Never Say Never is run across the Riverina, through the ACT and Greater Capital Region as well as along the South and Far South Coast.
