I-Connexions is a not-for-profit initiative focused on delivering practical, culturally grounded programs that create pathways into employment, education and wellbeing.

 

We work alongside community, not to deliver to people, but to build with them.

Guided by Elders and grounded in lived experience, our work supports individuals to grow in confidence, strengthen wellbeing, and move toward long-term opportunities.

Everything we do is built through connection to culture, community and Country.

WHY THIS WORK MATTERS

Access to opportunity is not equal.

​

Many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people face barriers to employment, education and wellbeing, not due to lack of potential, but lack of access, support and culturally safe pathways.

​

I-Connexions exists to change that.

​

We focus on creating real, practical opportunities that support people to move forward with confidence and support around them.

WHAT WE DO
I-Connexions delivers community-led programs focused on:

Employment Pathways
Supporting individuals to prepare for, access and sustain meaningful employment through mentoring, skill development and real opportunities.

 

Education & Training Support
Helping participants build confidence and capability to move into further education and training.

 

Wellbeing & Personal Development
Programs that strengthen resilience, identity and overall wellbeing through culturally grounded support.

 

Community & Cultural Connection
Creating safe spaces for connection to culture, community and Country as a foundation for long-term success.

HOW OUR PROGRAMS WORK
Our programs are designed to be practical, flexible and community-led.

We:

  • Co-design programs with community

  • Work alongside Elders, local organisations and partners

  • Deliver culturally safe, relevant support

  • Focus on long-term outcomes, not short-term engagement

  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals

  • Young people and adults seeking pathways into employment or education

  • Community-referred participants

  • Employer or training partner pathways

Donation Policy

All donations to I-Connexions directly support the delivery of community-led programs, including participant support, mentoring, training and employment pathway development.

Donations are non-refundable and may be applied to areas of greatest need to maximise impact.

We are committed to the responsible, transparent and accountable use of all contributions.
