This Could Be Your Next Step

Never Say Never is a program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people who want support to figure out what comes next.

That could mean getting your first job, starting training, looking into an apprenticeship or traineeship, or working out a pathway into further study.

You do not need to have everything sorted. You just need to be open to taking the next step.

Why Join?

Sometimes the hardest part is knowing where to start.

Never Say Never helps you build confidence, learn new skills, and take steps toward the future you want.

It is not just about jobs. It is about backing yourself, feeling supported, and building the tools you need for life, work, and study.

What’s Good About It?

With Never Say Never, you can:

  • build confidence

  • get support from mentors

  • learn real life and work skills

  • explore your options

  • work toward a job, training, or study

  • take part in a program that is free

This is your chance to grow, learn, and move forward.

Where Does It Run?

The program runs across communities and is designed to work in both local and regional areas.

We want it to be flexible and accessible, so support can meet young people where they are.

We pay our deepest respects to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ancestors of this land, their enduring spirits, and their profound legacy. The foundations laid by these ancestors—our First Nations peoples—give strength, inspiration, and courage to current and future generations towards creating a brighter future for all.

At Connexions, we honour the rich cultural heritage and deep wisdom of the Traditional Owners of the lands on which we work and live. We acknowledge their continued connection to the land, waters, and community. We commit ourselves to a path of reconciliation, respect, and partnership with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
